BLESSED TOGETHER – LOVE NEVER FAILS

PSALMS: 133:1-3
It is in togetherness in unity where the Lord bestows His blessings even life forever more.
The only thing which binds people together in unity is love.
1 Corinthians 13: 1-13
Love is the glue or cement which binds us together in unity in God. God himself is love. No wonder Paul is saying love never fails. This is because God never fails.
Jesus said the greatest commandment is Love your Lord God with all your heart and love your neighbor as you love yourself.
The duty we owe one another is to love. Love covers a multitude of sins no wonder God loved us while we were sinners and gave his only son to die for us.
Love is not emotions or feelings, it is a conscious decision we make to love.
In church, we are all different in many ways. The only way to cover our differences is to love God and love one another.
If we love God we will give our all. We wouldn’t need to be pushed. It will be out of our own volition. The motivation is from deep down our hearts. Not to serve because of selfish interests. But serve God and one anther because we love.
If we love one another all the people in the world will know we belong to God. We will serve one another.
Hence it will be a pleasure to meet and dwell together in unity.
People in love look for ways to enhance the life of one another. If we love will compete to do good to one another. In return goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of our life.
