Growing in excellence

Scripture Philipians 1:9-10

9And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment,10that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ,11being filled with the fruits of righteousness whichareby Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. Philippians 1:9-10 NKJV

10Whatever you do, do well. For when you go to the grave,[a]there will be no work or planning or knowledge or wisdom. Ecclesiastes 9:10 NLT

Apostle Paul prays that they grow or increase in discernment and knowledge and that they may approve things that are excellent.

The opposite of excellence is mediocrity; no man desires mediocre service, poorly made clothes,Unintentional friendship… the list goes on. We all desire the best, how much more for our God.The creator of all, the all powerful , all knowing. For an excellent service or work is an act of worship.
