The Year of The LORD’s Devine Enablement
Acts 1: 1 – 8; Acts 2: 1 – 4
” But you will receive powerandability when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be My witnesses[to tell people about Me] both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8 Amplified Bible (AMP)
In Acts 10:38Amp scripture declares “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with great power; and He went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with Him”.
” In Luke 24:49 Amp “49Listen carefully: I am sending the Promise of My Father [the Holy Spirit] upon you; but you are to remain in the city [of Jerusalem] until you are clothed (fully equipped) with power from on high. ”
Jesus declares “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you ” Luke 10:19 NIV . We cannot do this on our own, we need power for the hour, we need Grace, we need divine enablement from on high.
Grace is also defined as divine enablement or power for the hour. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” Eph. 6:12 KJV We need divine enablement. The Holy Spirit is the divine enabler.
This is the year when those who catch the vision and run with it will experience and testify of the reality of Mark 16:17-18 (KJV)
17 “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover”.
